Privacy Policy

This is a fan-run portal for the survive min game. We built it so people can launch the game in one click — no downloads, no accounts. That means our data footprint is deliberately small. Here is exactly what happens under the hood.

Game saves and settings. When you play the survive min game in your browser, your progress — save files, dialogue history, system preferences like volume level — sits in your browser's localStorage. We don't touch it. We don't read it. We don't send it anywhere. It stays on your device. If you clear your browser cache or switch to a different device, that data disappears. There's no recovery because there was never a copy of it anywhere else.

Basic usage data. When anyone visits a website, the browser quietly sends things like browser version, screen size, and the time of the request. This is standard HTTP. We don't run analytics scripts, trackers, or cookies of our own. The hosting platform may keep raw access logs for operational purposes, but we don't have access to them and don't use them for anything.

The survive min game is embedded from a third-party CDN (currently s.survivemin.org). That host may log basic request data under its own privacy practices — the same way any web server does. The game itself is FATHER's work and does not phone home. It runs locally in your browser after the initial page load.

This site also links out to itch.io and YouTube. Once you leave our domain, their policies apply, not ours.

We don't run a backend. No database. No user accounts. No server-side processing of anything you do inside the survive min game. The architecture of this site makes it near-impossible to have a data breach because there's almost nothing to breach. The tradeoff: since everything lives in your browser, clear your localStorage and your game saves are gone for good. Press S during gameplay to screenshot your progress if you want a backup.

The survive min game is rated 18+ and contains psychological horror, blood, suggestive dialogue, and sustained tension. We do not knowingly collect or store any information from anyone. If a minor plays this game, that's a conversation for their household — it's not something we facilitate or track. Guardians should know what this game is before letting someone young sit down with it.

This is not the official survive min game website. We're a community page. All characters, art, writing, and the SURVIVE MIN name belong to FATHER. This privacy policy covers only this fan portal and its subpages — it does not extend to the game itself, FATHER's itch.io listing, or any linked third-party service.

If we update this page, the new version goes up here with the date changed. Since we don't collect emails or run accounts, we can't push a notification — check back if it matters to you.
